14-Day Detailed Overland Itinerary

Carefully timed for physiological acclimatization and complete 3-day sacred outer parikrama.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m) Stay: 4-Star Hotel
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, transfer to hotel. Evening group orientation meeting and sacred Pashupatinath Temple Darshan.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing & Visa Processing Stay: Kathmandu
Visit Guhyeshwari Shaktipeeth and Budhanilkantha (Sleeping Vishnu). Final gear check, group briefing, and passport collection for Chinese group visa stamping.
Day 03: Kathmandu to Syabrubesi / Timure (1,950m) Drive: 6-7 Hours
Scenic drive along Trishuli river through Langtang National Park hills to the border town of Timure / Syabrubesi.
Day 04: Cross Nepal-China Border to Kyirong Town (2,700m) Tibet Entry
Complete Nepal immigration at Rasuwagadhi and Chinese immigration at Kyirong Port. Meet our Tibetan guide and transfer to Kyirong town hotel.
Day 05: Mandatory Acclimatization Rest Day in Kyirong Elevation: 2,700m
Rest and short walking excursion to adjust your respiratory system to high altitude before ascending to the 4,500m Tibetan plateau.
Day 06: Kyirong to Saga (4,450m) Drive: 5-6 Hours
Ascend the spectacular high-altitude Tibetan pass (Gongtang La - 5,236m) with panoramic views of Mount Shishapangma and Lake Pelku Tso. Cross the sacred Yarlung Tsangpo (Brahmaputra) river to Saga.
Day 07: Saga to Sacred Lake Mansarovar (4,590m) First Darshan

Day 08: Mansarovar Puja & Drive to Darchen (4,670m) Base Camp
Morning sacred Havana and puja on the banks of Mansarovar. Short drive to Darchen, the official base camp village at the southern foot of Mount Kailash.
Day 09: Parikrama Day 1 β€” Darchen to Dirapuk (4,900m) Trek: 12 km
Drive to Yam Dwar (Tarboche) and begin the sacred parikrama along the Lha Chu river. Witness the towering North Face of Mount Kailash from Dirapuk Monastery.
Day 10: Parikrama Day 2 β€” Dirapuk to Zuthulpuk via Dolma La Pass (5,630m) Trek: 22 km
The most challenging and sacred day. Ascend steadily to Dolma La Pass (5,630m), offer prayers at Dolma Stone, pass the sacred turquoise Gauri Kund, and descend to Zuthulpuk Monastery.
Day 11: Parikrama Day 3 β€” Zuthulpuk to Darchen & Drive to Saga Completion
Complete the remaining 8km easy trek to Chongdo, meet vehicles, and drive back across the Tibetan plateau to Saga.
Day 12: Saga to Kyirong Descent
Scenic drive back towards Kyirong gorge, enjoying rich Himalayan valley views and celebratory farewell dinner with the Sherpa team.
Day 13: Kyirong to Kathmandu Return to Nepal
Cross China-Nepal border back to Kathmandu. Certificate of Yatra Completion presentation at Kathmandu hotel.
Day 14: Final Departure from Kathmandu Homeward Bound
Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your flight back home with divine memories and blessings.
