Cancellation & Refund Policy

Clear timelines and guidelines for cancellations and date transfers.

1. Cancellation Timeline & Refund Structure

In the event that you need to cancel your booked yatra, written notification via registered email is mandatory. The following refund schedule applies based on the date written notice is received prior to departure:

Cancellation Timing Before Departure	Refund Percentage
45 Days or more prior to departure	85% of total package cost (Minus non-refundable permit charges)
30 to 44 Days prior to departure	65% of total package cost
15 to 29 Days prior to departure	35% of total package cost
Less than 15 Days / No-Show	0% Refund (All hotel and vehicle commitments pre-paid)

2. Date Rescheduling Policy

If you need to transfer your booking to another batch within the same operating season, you may do so with at least 30 days prior notice, subject to batch slot availability and payment of any nominal permit re-issuance fee.

3. Force Majeure & Government Action

If an expedition is cancelled by government border closures, military directives, or severe natural disasters before commencement, Rudra Treks will issue a Credit Travel Voucher valid for 18 months for 100% of unspent balances, allowing you to undertake the yatra at the next available opportunity.

4. Processing of Approved Refunds

Approved refunds are credited directly to the original bank account / payment source within 7 to 10 business days following formal cancellation processing.
