Nearby at Nabidhang stands Om Parvat (5,590m), where natural snow deposition against black rock creates a prominent, miraculous Sanskrit ॐ symbol visible throughout the trekking season.

Unlike Tibet's Kailash, this sacred pilgrimage requires NO Chinese visa or passport for Indian citizens, only an official Inner Line Permit (ILP) and medical fitness certificate, both arranged by Rudra Treks.

8-Day Adi Kailash & Om Parvat Itinerary

Starting and ending at Kathgodam / Haldwani with dedicated mountain vehicles.

Day 01: Kathgodam to Dharchula (915m) Drive: 9 Hours • 280 km
Early morning pickup from Kathgodam railway station. Scenic drive past Almora, Bageshwar, and Pithoragarh along the Gori and Kali rivers to Dharchula. Group briefing.
Day 02: Dharchula Permit Formalities & Medical Check Stay: Dharchula
Complete SDM office Inner Line Permit (ILP) verification, biometric clearance, and mandatory government medical health checkup.
Day 03: Dharchula to Gunji / Nabi Village (3,200m) 4x4 Drive: 6-7 Hours
Spectacular 4x4 mountain drive through Nazang, Chhialekh, and Garbyang to the picturesque Vyas Valley village of Nabi / Gunji. Traditional Bhotia welcome.
Day 04: Sacred Om Parvat Darshan & Kalapani Excursion: Nabidhang (4,250m)
Early morning drive to Kalapani Kali Mata Mandir, then onward to Nabidhang viewpoint for the clear morning Darshan of the divine snow ॐ on Om Parvat. Return to Nabi homestay.
Day 05: Sacred Adi Kailash & Parvati Sarovar Excursion: Jolingkong (4,500m)
Drive towards Jolingkong. Gentle walk to sacred Parvati Sarovar and the ancient Shiva-Parvati Temple. Offer puja and perform Parikrama with views of Adi Kailash and Gauri Kund.
Day 06: Nabi Village to Dharchula 4x4 Drive: 6 Hours
Descend the scenic Vyas Valley via Chhialekh back to Dharchula. Evening free to explore the vibrant Indo-Nepal border bridge and market.
Day 07: Dharchula to Chaukori / Kausani Drive: 5-6 Hours
Scenic drive to the tranquil tea gardens of Chaukori / Kausani with panoramic sunset views over the Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Panchachuli Himalayan peaks.
Day 08: Chaukori to Kathgodam Drive: 6 Hours
Drive to Kathgodam via Almora / Nainital. Drop off at Kathgodam railway station for your onward journey home with divine blessings.
